River levels remain high at the Haw Bridge river gauge because of Storm Darragh. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue.
We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Tirley, Chaceley and Haw Bridge, including the B4213.
Predicted peak:- Haw Bridge 4.9m to 5.1m on Wednesday night, 11/12/2024.
No further rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
This message will be updated by 11am on Thursday 12/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
