River levels have peaked but remain high on the River Biss due to heavy rainfall over the weekend and flooding is expected to continue through today however no further heavy rainfall is forecast.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Biss, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Yarnbrook and the Lady Down Mill area downstream of Trowbridge.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and clearing debris from weed screens.
Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
