River Bourne and tributaries

River levels in the River Bourne remain high due to the high groundwater and the recent rainfall. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible, property flooding is not expected at the moment. Areas most at risk include tributaries between Aughton and Laverstock. Rainfall is forecast for the next few days but low totals are expected and we are not at this time expecting further flooding. We are monitoring the rainfall and the river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Monitor your local water levels and weather conditions.
