Cuckmere River

The Cuckmere river has returned to a normal level. No rain is anticipated to fall on 30/01/2025 but a band of showers is expected on 31/01/2025 which could lead to further river rises. Minor impacts affecting fields and gardens are possible around 07:00 in Hellingly on 31/01/25 and river levels should fall from Friday evening. Following this, very little rain is forecast from 01/02/25 into next week. We will update this message by 12:00 on 31/01/2025.
