Groundwater flooding in Pitton, West Tytherley, Nether Wallop and Broughton

Groundwater levels remain high. During the last week, the weather has been dry. At Lopcombe Corner, the level peaked on Tuesday 11/02/2025 and has since fallen by 53cm. At West Tytherley, the level is relatively stable. Ongoing flooding impacts to cellars, land, gardens, and the sewerage system are expected to slowly reduce. From today 17/02/2025 to Friday 21/02/2025, only small amounts of rain are forecast, with up to 15mm possible across these 5 days. Groundwater levels at Lopcombe Corner are expected to continue slowly falling. At West Tytherley, the level will remain relatively stable initially, before beginning to slowly fall later this week. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. If you use pumps to help reduce water levels, please ensure that they are operating. This Flood Alert will be updated by 18:00 on Monday 24/02/2025.
