Flood Alert

Lower River Loddon at the River Thames confluence at Twyford

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the River Loddon as a result of heavy rainfall over the weekend from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today 25/11/2024, especially in the Loddon Drive area of Wargrave, with flooding of roads affecting access to properties. The forecast is for a dry day today 25/11/24 with possible further showers overnight into tomorrow 26/11/24. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are monitoring the situation. Our staff are checking and clearing trash screens. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 26/11/24, or as the situation changes.
