River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high but starting to stabilise on the River Thames following recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today (30/01/25) in the Shiplake area. No rainfall is forecast for today. Some further rainfall is forecast for tomorrow (31/01/25). River levels are stabilising and are forecast to start slowly declining over the next few days. We are monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
