Flood Alert

River Rhee in Central Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire

River levels are falling but remain high following rainfall from Storm Darragh. Flooding of low-lying land is possible today, 11/12/2024. Areas most at risk are those around the River Rhee from Guilden Morden to Haslingfield. The forecast is now dry, which will allow levels to continue to fall. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don’t put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and are not expecting it to escalate. We will update this message by 9am tomorrow, Thursday 12th December.
