River levels are falling at Newport Pagnell and starting to peak downstream following continued rainfall from Storm Darragh. Flooding of low lying land is possible today, 11/12/2024. Areas most at risk are around the River Great Ouse from Newport Pagnell to Roxton. The forecast this week is dry, but river levels will remain high for several days as flood water flows through the catchment. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don’t put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and not expecting it to escalate. We will update this message by 9am tomorrow, Thursday 12th December 2024.
