River levels remain high following continued rainfall from Storm Darragh. Flooding is possible over the next few days as floodwater flows down the River Great Ouse from upstream. Areas most at risk are around the River Great Ouse from Brampton to Earith, including Back Brook, Hall Green Brook, Parsons Drove Drain, Swavesey Drain and Wadsbys Folly. Access to properties in Berry Lane, Godmanchester, may also be affected. The forecast is now dry, which will allow levels to start falling later this week. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don’t put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 9am tomorrow, Thursday 12th December 2024.
