River levels continue to rise slowly at the Kempsey Yacht Club river gauge following Storm Darragh. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland continues. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the River Teme from Ludlow to Bransford. Locations that may be affected include Tenbury Wells and Knightwick. No further rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high for several days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 09:00 on Thursday 12/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
