River levels remain high but are falling slowly at the Worcester (Barbourne) river gauge because of Storm Darragh. Consequently, flooding of property, roads, and farmland is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Pitchcroft.
Observed peak:- Worcester 4.96m early Wednesday morning, 11/12/2024.
No further rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 6pm on Thursday, 12/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
