River Dee catchment in England from Whitchurch to Chester

River levels remain high on the River Dee but are slowly falling. Flooding is possible at low lying land and roads around Shocklach, Farndon, Handley, Lower Kinnerton, Chester and Puddington. Townfield Lane is likely to be cut off. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 12/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
