Upper River Derwent, Stonethwaite Beck and Derwent Water

River and lakes levels are continuing to fall, but footpaths near watercourses may still be flooded. Further heavy rain is forecast for the weekend of 13th,14th and 15th December 2025, which will cause the rivers and lake to rise, and is likely to result in the flood warning for Keswick Campsite being reissued. Avoid using low lying footpaths near watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00 AM on 13/12/2025, or as the situation changes.
